Expect these clear skies to stay with us through the weekend with a warming trend. We expect day time highs to get upwards to around 50 degrees or so by the weekend with an offshore flow. The recent front that pushed through brought cold weather but not so much in the way of precipitation, at least for us. Up north in the Sierra’s they are reporting over 20″ which is a great sign for the winter to come. The most current El Nino reports tell us that we are still on track for a wet winter although we should not expect to see the effects of the El Nino effects until later into December. Long range forecasts are pointing to another substantial front to move through the pacific some time before the Thanksgiving break. We’ll have our fingers crossed that it will be headed our way.
